Money, part 2

The US dollar works in Cambodia!  The currency, riel, and the Thai baht are also used.  I don't ever remember traveling to a foreign country that took dollars.  Any one comment on this? 

 We are in the small Hanoi airport, drinking a beer and waiting for a flight to Siem Reap.  So excited to see the temples of Ankor tomorrow.  These temples were abandoned to the jungle for centuries.  We are leaving cool north Viet Nam for warmer Cambodia temperatures.
