This and That

JTraffic in Bangkok is scary!  No mass transit to speak of.  Walking city streets is frightening, sidewalks suddenly end or have big chunks of pavement missing.  Tuk tuks look fun but come with forced shopping ( my brother in laws shop?) before you get to your destination.  Motercycle helmets seem to be optional, seat belts non existant.  Taxis are cheap and instead of seatbelts have fresh flowers and Buddas on the dashboard.  A shop I read about in Lonely Planet talked about a shop that sold talisman for taxi drivers and other dangerous occupations.
