When we travel there are a few things that Ron enjoys that put him in touch with the locals. One is going to a launder-mat to do our laundary. In a developing country one does not see launder-mats and this hotel had a deal we could not pass up. One bag of laundary $30, one day service and it arrived in our room in a wicker chest, freshly laundered and wraped in tissue paper.
I saw a man getting a haircut on the sidewalk in Hanoi, Ron was not in need of a haircut at that point but when he is we'll be on the lookout for something as picturesque.
He is now in search of a notary and looking forward to taking a tuk-tuk to a bank, attorney or where ever. The hotel manager is checking on where to go, I'll keep you posted.
