Singapore

Less than 2 1/2 hours and we leave gracious but chaotic Bangkok for Singapore.  The airport in Singapore is rated the best in the world, clean, efficient.  The highway was unclogged even in rush hour because very few cars on the road, efficient mass transit.  The taxie had seat belts!  We arrived at Donna Miller-Philip Woods lovely flat on the top of a hill.  High ceilings and spacious.  I will have to get photos.  Donna had prepared a lovely dinner and we popped open the wine and we caught up on each other.  Philip arrived home via bus and we visited and ate dinner.  We slept well and woke early to the sound of birds.  The country side, a rain forest is suffering a terrible drought.  More later.

  1. Hi! Looks fantastic, the pictures are great. All is well here, hosted the dogs for awhile yesterday with Julia. They are eating and seem fine. (both the dogs and Julia!)
